Applicable legislation
Trends Srl is based in the Republic of San Marino: the processing of personal data collected through the Site is therefore governed primarily by Law no. 171 of 21 December 2018, "Protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data", and by the measures of the Data Protection Authority of the Republic of San Marino.
Where the Site is consulted by natural persons resident in the European Union, and since it is our intention to offer our services to Italian users and clients as well, we apply the principles of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) to the same standards of protection.
Types of data collected
- Browsing data: the IT systems and software procedures used to operate the Site acquire, in the course of their normal operation, certain data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols (e.g. IP address, browser type, pages requested, time of the request). This data is used solely to obtain anonymous statistical information on the use of the Site and to check that it is working correctly, and is deleted immediately after processing.
- Data provided voluntarily: the optional, explicit and voluntary sending of e-mail to the addresses shown on the Site (e.g. via the "Contact us" button or the direct e-mail link) entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender's address, needed to reply to requests, together with any other personal data included in the message.
Purposes and legal basis of processing
The data collected is processed in order to answer requests for information or contact, to fulfil any contractual, accounting and tax obligations, and to ensure the security and correct operation of the Site. The legal basis for processing is, depending on the case, the performance of pre-contractual or contractual measures requested by the data subject, compliance with legal obligations, or the legitimate interest of the Controller in managing and responding to the communications received.
Processing methods and retention
Processing is carried out using IT and/or telematic tools, with organisational methods and logic strictly related to the stated purposes, and in any case in such a way as to guarantee the security, integrity and confidentiality of the data. Data is kept for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected, and in any case in compliance with the applicable legal time limits.
Third-party providers and data transfers
The Site is hosted on infrastructure provided by Aruba S.p.A. To display typefaces and to run some animations, the Site loads resources from third-party content delivery networks (Google Fonts, cdnjs/Cloudflare): loading these resources may involve a technical connection to the servers of the respective providers. We do not share personal data collected through the Site with third parties for marketing purposes.
Rights of the data subject
At any time you may exercise, against the Data Controller, the rights provided for by the applicable legislation, including: the right of access to your personal data, the right to obtain its rectification or erasure, the restriction of processing, the right to object to processing, and the right to data portability. You may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority — the Data Protection Authority of the Republic of San Marino or, for data subjects resident in the European Union, the supervisory authority of their own Member State.
To exercise these rights, you can write to info@trends.srl.
